Gorilla pod tripod?
I bought a Gorillapod and I found it too firm. Good idea, but having to use high-speed shutter stop motion class defeats the purpose. Consider a Manfrotto (Bogen) Super Clamp, clinging to a tree, pipe, with the side of a boat or anything else solid. The use of adapters can connect almost anything photographic. That's really not tripodic closest I've found that comes close to a tripod for solidity. HTH V2K1
