The lighting and the software is better?
So I'm new at this I can not decide which is better? Watts make any difference? Is it more watts too bright? Professional photographers please help me out! Also, do i need strobe lights and visors? I do not just videos photo. These are what are known as continuous or "hot" lights, not flash (or strobe lights). You need a much higher power for lights continuously to get enough light on the subject and are called hot lights for one reason - the heat! Models can get uncomfortable under them after of a time and be careful with modifiers (light boxes and gels in particular) that will not melt. I do not work with continuous prefer strobes (flash) lights. More comfortable for the model to work with and find the best light quality. Flashes can be 'pack and head' or monobloc systems (cheaper). Come at different powers as well - measured in W / s (watt second). For working indoors 150-200 W / s is sufficient. To the outside, where you might want to be of light ambient light, require about 400 W / s or higher. At the door of a point, of course, there also need a portable charger, which makes these expensive units. On the other hand, consider shoe flashes (flashes) - much less than a studio flash around 60 W / s, but very good for studio work and outdoor background levels when are slightly lower (eg sunset) .. Very lightweight and portable and cheaper than a studio flash. The light switches in the package (umbrellas and light boxes) that the source of greatest light (and therefore softer shadows) but also allow light to spill across (umbrellas esp.) where you may not want to go. Visors are used to prevent leakage of light in a particular direction, when you may want the flag of either causing flashes of the camera (if you're shooting to her) or to keep out a fund (if you want a low key, dark b / g) Why go for a chromakey green b / g? A white (or neutral gray) would be versatile as you could gel the lights to green if you want a green b / g. A green b / g will always be green, but a white (or gray) you can be any color you like.
