Okay so I won a bid on Ebay for a Sunpak 333 (pan / tilt wit manual controls) for my Nikon D60. Or do I have to buy something else or what? Secondly, What do you suggest as general lighting and other things with a budget? Thanks in advance!

I like the fact that you are thinking this way. Off camera flash through an umbrella is much better than using the camera flash alone. First, do not think you can use your flash with this. Trigger must fit the shoe, and I think (although I'm not 100% sure) that the pad is disabled when the flash appeared. Secondly, you may want to check that trigger work with the Sunpak 333. Some wireless receivers have hot shoes, some use a PC connection. It seems that the specific trigger / receiver attached only has a PC connection so you need to ensure that Sunpak is acceptable. If you get into this, you can buy another receiver compatible with what you have and a second lightstand / umbrella holder / umbrella / flash combo.
